ToggleWHAT HAPPENED?
The Gunners threw away the lead twice on Sunday at Emirates Stadium as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Liverpool in a crucial Premier League encounter. Bukayo Saka handed the hosts an early lead before Virgil van Dijk brought the Reds back into the game. At the stroke of halftime, Mikel Merino restored his team's lead, however, Mohamed Salah's 81st-minute goal meant that Mikel Arteta's boys dropped two important points at home.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
With Arsenal now winless in their last two league encounters, Manchester United legend and pundit Roy Keane slammed the club for yet another poor show and questioned the team's mentality and their approach to games that could hurt them in the title race in the 2024-25 campaign. The club now trail league leaders Manchester City by five points.

WHAT ROY KEANE SAID
Speaking on after the game, Keane said, "I’m starting to worry about this Arsenal mentality. You’re 2-1 up and I’m looking go on and win that game. There’s evidence of Arsenal now, and it’s happened most of the season when they get themselves in front. Don’t worry about excuses and going down to 10 men.
"They sit back in and are almost settling for 2-1 or think they may get a set piece instead of going for it. Liverpool were there for the taking if they wanted to go for it. It’s almost hoping you can win 2-1 but when you’re up against good players like Salah then they are good enough to punish you."
