Netherlands international Rafael van der Vaart could be sidelined for a month after suffering a hamstring injury in Sunday's 2-1 victory against Liverpool.

The influential midfielder had to be substituted after just 12 minutes of the action at White Hart Lane.

Younes Kaboul also picked up a hip injury in the same game, with boss Harry Redknapp saying:"Rafa felt it tear, so that doesn't look too good.

"Younes felt he might have torn a muscle in his hip. He felt that go. It's so disappointing for Rafa. He keeps picking up little injuries.

"It's probably because he's missed a pre-season or was away at the World Cup and not played many games.

"When your fitness is a bit low it's hard to get up to speed. He keeps getting little nicks."

Of his team's display, Redknapp added:"We're not a team that you can write off and go, 'They're going nowhere, are they?'
